CINCINNATI — STACK Construction Technologies announced the addition of Mike Sabol to its executive leadership team, joining in a new role as vice president of enterprise sales. Sabol most recently hails from GoContractor, bringing over 20 years of construction technology sales expertise to STACK.

In a previous position at Newforma, Sabol’s sales strategy helped scale their business from $8 million to $40 million in four years. This metric was a huge selling point for STACK, as the company continues to focus on growth in the subcontractor market with recent acquisitions of solutions in the bid retrieval and construction management space.

“We’re thrilled to have Mike head up our enterprise team here at STACK,” said Phil Ogilby, STACK co-founder and CEO. “As we continue to move upmarket, we need enterprise leadership that’s laser-focused on both our growth and the unique needs of our subcontractor customers. We’re confident that Mike is the right person to expand our presence in the market.”

In his new role, Sabol will focus on a proactive enterprise sales strategy and oversee the enterprise sales team. His main goal is to focus on risk reduction in construction through leveraging STACK’s comprehensive technology platform. He will report directly to Ray DeZenzo, STACK’s chief operating officer.

“For a business to thrive, creativity is imperative. I analyze data to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses and make thoughtful changes that affect the bottom line,” said Sabol.

Thriving in a sales environment, Sabol loves building teams that believe in a common pursuit of profit goals and can be honest about their strengths and weaknesses. Although nothing is weak about his proven results in past roles — his strategy works.

“The moment I walked into the office, it felt like a team,” said Sabol. “Phil and Ray really understood how I would fit into the business, rather than the mindset of if I was qualified for the role.”

BELOIT, Wis. — AccuLynx announced the launch of an online Customer Portal to help roofing contractors provide better customer service while saving them time. This secure, self-service website, which is designed for use with an AccuLynx account, gives contractors an easier way to provide project updates to their customers, answer questions, offer financing, request or receive payments and more.

"For many contracting businesses, managing customer relationships is challenging, especially when things get busy. The AccuLynx Customer Portal helps contractors stay on top of customer relationships by automating the process of keeping customers informed throughout a job and providing the tools that make communication and payment collection easy. Contractors can exchange messages with customers, share documents and photos, receive payments, and even offer financing," said Mark Rattin, vice president of product at AccuLynx.

Instead of emailing individual documents, making phone calls, or driving back and forth to job sites, roofing contractors can share relevant information stored in their AccuLynx job file directly to the portal. Once a customer is provided with a unique login to the portal, they will be able to see the specific information that is shared with them, including relevant documents, appointments, delivery dates, cost, payment history and invoice balance.

"Customers today expect a high level of service from contractors," said Mike Stein, CEO of AccuLynx. "That includes on-demand access to their projects, the ability to get immediate answers to their questions, and a convenient way to make payments. Our new Customer Portal, along with the many other features in AccuLynx, helps roofing contractors take their service to the next level without increasing their workload."

The Customer Portal is the latest addition to the AccuLynx platform, which is used by thousands of roofing contractors across the U.S. and Canada. It is designed for roofing contractors who are focused on delivering superior customer service while running an efficient operation. By providing customers with 24/7 access to their projects as well as self-service capabilities, roofing companies that use the Customer Portal benefit from improved capacity and customer satisfaction.

The Customer Portal, which can be customized with a company's branding, is an optional feature available in AccuLynx.

CHICAGO — Jobba announced the promotion of Steven White to chief transformation officer. White has been with the company for six years and played a key role in the product development and branding of Jobba. In his new role, White will lead Jobba teams and initiatives focused on industry transformation, product design, marketing and sales.

“When we say customer-driven focus, it means we're driven by the needs and desires of our customers,” said White. “So everything we do is designed to help our clients with their pain points, their issues and provide them with leadership and vision to grow their businesses.”

Jobba helps roofing contractors manage every aspect of their business from selling to service to invoicing – all on one platform. This allows contractors to automate and track the key areas of their business and eliminates the need to use dozens of technology applications.

“I spoke with a contractor recently who was using 26 different technology apps to run the different areas of their business, which just isn’t manageable," White said. "These apps are not designed to talk to each other, which creates the need for manual workarounds increasing labor and rework. The average contractor is spending over 50% of their time doing the paperwork and manual workarounds generated by all these apps.”

Jobba’s platform also connects contractors to the broader roofing ecosystem with features that allow them to interact with manufacturers, distributors and service providers. One of Jobba’s latest integrations is with the Pegnato Roof Intelligence Network — providing contractors with an opportunity to obtain work with major accounts they couldn’t normally access.
