KYOCERA SENCO Industrial Tools Inc. (SENCO) announced the launch of an all-new, built-in-the-USA pneumatic framing nailer. The SENCO FN91T1 balances power, durability and ergonomics — it was designed to sink nails all day long and survive the toughest job sites without causing undue fatigue to the user. The FN91T1 is SENCO’s most powerful pneumatic framer yet, delivering 18% more driving force than comparable framing nailers. It is designed to consistently sink up to 3.5-inch framing nails in dense engineered lumber like LVL and OSB without slowing down. The nailer drives paper-collated, 34-degree clipped-head and offset-round-head nails from 2 to 3.5 inches in length.

Teledyne FLIR introduced the FlexView dual field-of-view (DFOV) lens attachment for FLIR Axxx and Txxx Series thermography cameras designed to improve operational efficiency, safety, and accuracy from switchyards to the plant floor. With a single form factor just 6 millimeters longer than the standard single-lens setup, operators now can have two lenses without adding weight while enjoying a smoother experience operating the camera and reducing inspection time in the field. With the ability to get more pixels on target versus a single lens system, operators can also increase the distance between themselves and potentially dangerous equipment.

QuickBOLT’s QB2 with 3-inch Microflashing® has officially received Miami-Dade County Acceptance meaning easier permitting processes, greater permit approval coverage, and savings on solar installation projects. QB2 received Florida State approval back in January 2021 meeting state requirements and improving the permitting prospects of installers across the state, but Miami-Dade NOA significantly improves the permitting position of QB2. Miami-Dade is known to have the strictest approval process in the country due to its High-Velocity Hurricane Zones (HVHZ). All new projects must meet a set of requirements to ensure products are secure when tested against these extreme weather conditions. Having Miami-Dade NOA for both tests in one - as QB2 has - allows installers to skip project-specific stamped engineering and save on permitting costs.
