VaproShield has unveiled BlockShield SA Plus for roofs, a self-adhered air, water and vapor barrier underlayment. For use in both commercial and residential construction, BlockShield SA Plus creates a barrier against vapor and air infiltration. BlockShield SA Plus features no red-list chemicals, has zero VOCs, and contains 18 to 20% post-industrial recycled content. It is compatible with OSB, plywood, gypsum and concrete.* BlockShield SA Plus does not require a primer for installation. It has a six-month UV and weather exposure and can be applied at temperatures as low as 20 degrees Fahrenheit (-6 degrees Celsius).
