Titanium FR High Temp and Fire Resistant Self-Adhered Underlayment • Owens Corning
Titanium FR High Temp and Fire Resistant Self-Adhered Underlayment is designed to provide the Class A fire resistance normally required for roofing assemblies installed in wildland-urban interface [WUI] areas. Class A indicates the material used in Titanium FR High Temp and Fire Resistant Self-Adhered Underlayment is “effective against severe fire exposure.” Class A is the highest classification for fire resistance in roofs, per ASTM E108 or UL 790 fire testing. Titanium FR is designed to mitigate the risk of fire spread to the roof deck under metal, tile, or asphalt roof coverings. The new underlayment also offers support for fire safety in energy-generating roof assemblies.

Pro Metal Series Restoration System • Inland Coatings
Pro Metal Series, is a spray-applied restoration system for metal roofs that pairs RC 2250SG premium Rubber Seam Compound [spray-grade] with RC 2016 One Pass Rubber Roof Coating. In a statement, the company says its single-pass system allows commercial roofing companies to repair and restore metal roofs at a significantly lower cost and a better profit margin than a complete roof replacement. Formulated with corrosion inhibitor, mildewcide, primer and UV protectant, RC 2016 One Pass uses a smaller amount of product than other coatings to restore a roof, the company said, which reduces the number of days on-site. This allows contractors to complete the restoration faster and move on to the next rubber roof coating project.

Updated Packaging • APOC Products
APOC roofing and waterproofing products will get an exterior makeover across all product lines this spring that aims to deliver a more uniform experience to customers, calling attention to features and benefits while minimizing confusion, according to a statement released by the company. Newly designed front panels with large product numbers and simplified descriptions should make APOC-branded items easily distinguishable from competitors — and one another — on the shelves. When revamping the packaging, the team made the label components more recognizable and focused on educating applicators. All featured graphics now include corresponding Spanish translations, and the color and number of coats required for each product to perform are called out.
