Peel & Seal is a versatile, self-adhering membrane with an aluminum top surface that can be exposed to the elements indefinitely. The company says it is ideal for patching or repairing storm-damaged roofs, gutters, or wherever a waterproofing barrier is needed. If repair materials are unavailable promptly, the UV-stable membrane works perfectly for these applications. Peel & Seal is a durable 45-mil membrane that will also self-seal around punctures to maintain a waterproof barrier.

CertainTeed’s Landmark ClimateFlex is an all-weather performance shingle with an industry-leading Class 4 rating for hail damage protection, meeting the demand for all-weathered roofs as extreme weather conditions rise. Other features include a NailTrak extra-wide nailing area for accurate installation and resistance to fire, wind and tears. The shingle includes a 25-year algae-resistance warranty, 10-year SureStart protection, 15-year 110 mph wind-resistance warranty. A wind warranty upgrade to 130 mph is available when used alongside CertainTeed starter and CertainTeed hip and ridge products.

The white polyester top layer of Tarco’s LeakBarrier NR600 Ultra provides a lower-temperature working surface for the installer, while the thick layer of SBS compound self-seals around fasteners, preventing moisture penetration. The back side has an aggressive self-adhesive formulation that adheres to a variety of substrates. NR600 Ultra is an excellent choice for use under tile as well as under asphalt shingles, slate, and metal.
