The Top 150 List of Roofing Contractors for 2024

Yes, you read that right — the Top 100 list has been expanded this year to include the Top 150 roofing contractors nationwide.

Due to the overwhelming response from the roofing industry, RC decided it was only appropriate to recognize the hard work of roofing companies by increasing our Top 100 to include what we traditionally called “The Next 25” or “The Next 50.”

One other notable change to the list was made to reflect the industry's ongoing trend of private equity activity. This year, we asked companies to disclose whether they were part of a private equity group or a larger roofing contractor corporation.

Companies on the list that were once independent may now be part of a larger operation, while other firms may represent several companies operating under an umbrella. About 20% of this year’s list has indicated they are involved with private equity.

Aside from these changes, the traditional methodology was employed to compile the list. Each year, we seek submissions from roofing companies looking to snag a spot on the list. Companies are ranked based on their total annual revenue from the previous year. The information is self-reported and verified by two representatives of each company.

Texas and Florida are the most represented states on this year’s list, though contractors from nearly every state are included. Nearly half of the list earns revenue through residential work, while just over a third are primarily commercial contractors.
