The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for new strategic account development in the commercial market and delivering overall growth in multi-location accounts for MTL Holdings in the major market they are assigned to cover. Commercial accounts are multi-location; manufacturing, industrial, data centers, and healthcare facilities that can be developed through building owners, roof/building envelope consultants and national roofing contractors through direct relationship development. The SAM will primarily call on the decision-makers who direct or lead the specification and purchasing decision for metal components for commercial multi-location accounts. The SAM will be responsible for executing a sales plan to grow new and existing strategic account revenue and margin in a roughly 500 mile radius from their location. Each SAM will have a goal based on their geographic coverage.
